We made this Friday night. We have never made duck and thought… LET’S DO IT! I found a very simple recipe for roasted duck with awesome reviews and added a few things I thought would make it magnificent, and it turned out to be delicious! First I will give you the recipe, and then the additions. The pictures are of the duck we made. Do you like duck? Do you have a special way you make it?

Here is what we added to the inside of the duck:
We quartered a whole onion, sliced a whole lemon, added a half a stick of butter, added a several sprigs of fresh rosemary and fresh thyme.
I substituted the salt that goes on the skin for Lawry’s Garlic Salt.
Our sides were Baked Sweet Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts w/Red Onion, and Shitaki Mushrooms, and Garlic Loaf with Jalapeno and 3 state Cheddar.
